My favorite Valentines!

Today, as well as many others I am reminded what a truly special gift love is. This morning I watched a family grieve the loss of a loved one. With a heavy heart I hugged two of my very best friends and said a silent prayer to heal their hearts. 

I thought about my love. Drifting around in the ocean, far away from my arms. Hoping he can feel my love through the miles. Our love is not perfect but it is absolutely the most precious gift I have ever been given. Many of you have heard this story, but, I will never forget when Matt asked me to marry him he said, "I want you to be my family." He never asked me to marry him or be his wife. He is clearly not the romantic type, but the love he had in his eyes, I will never forget. That shook me to my core. He wanted to build his life and family with me. I have had days where I was one foot out the door but, my marriage has overcome everything that has come our way and I am so blessed that God gave me this man. I took a little trip down memory lane and dug up these gems! These are all about 8-9 years old now... Love you my forever Valentine...

The best part of today was sharing it with my two favorite little people! The love that you have as a mother compares to no other feeling in the world. I am so grateful  that my munchkins can always brighten my day!
